Na manhã desta quinta-feira (23/04) os trabalhadores da pesca artesanal da colônia de pescadores de Natal, no bairro de Santos Reis, foram ao Santuário de Santos Reis para receber cestas básicas.
As cestas foram doadas pela a população por intermédio do Governo do Rio Grande do Norte, em parceria com a Prefeitura do Natal, campanha Busão Solidário, empresas do setor privado e organizações não governamentais.
A ajuda aos pescadores chega em boa hora, já que a comunidade pesqueira sofre com a crise no setor causada pelo vazamento de óleo que atingiu as praias nordestinas, no final de 2019.

Rosângela lembra que os pescadores do interior também estão sendo prejudicados com a crise e também necessitam de ajuda. “Também sou secretária de federação de pescadores do RN e estamos fazendo um trabalho junto com a Sethas (Secretaria de Estado do Trabalho, da Habitação e da Assistência Social) preenchendo os formulários e creio que até a próxima semana deve sair para mais alguma colônia.” afirma.
